Each month, we pledge to donate 10% of profits to a different cause.
In the month of September, we will be donating to Disasters Emergency Committee - Pakistan Floods Appeal.
According to the government of Pakistan, a third of the country - equivalent to an area the size of the UK - is underwater, in what the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has called a "climate catastrophe". Whole villages have been cut off, with rescuers struggling to reach them. At least 1,100 people have been killed and 1,500 injured.
Ten DEC charities are responding, either directly or through local partners, and have been among those helping to save lives and provide emergency relief.
The immediate priorities are providing temporary shelter, emergency food support and clean drinking water.
DEC charities are coordinating closely with the local authorities and UN agencies to help in ways that best address the needs of those affected.
